Buskers of Wellington City is a heavily Humans of New York inspired facebook page and blog designed to foster a culture of goodwill between the inhabitants of Wellington and the beautiful street performers who grace our public spaces with their talents.
On the facebook page I will be featuring photographs of buskers I have had the pleasure of talking to along with a quick Q and A with each individual.
To accompany that, I will also be posting 500-1000 word articles about my interactions with the buskers of Wellington city to introduce as many of them to you as I am able as well as to let you know where/when you can catch them performing.
This is a project that is very close to my heart as an artist, occasional busker and human being. Please check out the fb page, the blog and if it’s a project you like, share it with your friends.
I'm a musician from Wellington, New Zealand, currently exploring the USA. Download my latest ep "The Beginning" for FREE/ pay what you want at loxdixon.bandcamp.com. This is my sole source of income and what I love to do. I love my fans with all my heart :). I keep a wordy blog about my life at nzblackhawk.blogspot.com so if you want to know what I'm up to at any given point, check that out. I also write a lot of poetry in my spare time and the odd short story which I post at my wordpress blog http://lachlandixon.wordpress.com. On top of all that I'm a fairly successful youtuber so feel free to stop on by youtube.com/notyourordinarymusic to check out my vlogs, music makings and general creative randomness. Cheers for supporting my creative career :)
